How to Measure for a Collar
For collars up to ½” wide:
1. Use a soft tape measure.
2. Wrap the tape measure around the neck snugly, but not tight,
leaving one fingers room.
3. Line the end up with the numbers on the tape measure. This
is the smallest size collar to wear.
4. If you do not have a soft tape measure, use a piece of string
or strip of paper and the instructions above.
5. Line up the ends of the string or paper over a ruler or yardstick.
This is the smallest size collar to wear.
6. Remember this number when ordering, use that number as your
guide.
For collars over ½” wide:
1. Cut a piece of stiff paper the width of the collar and an
approximate neck size.
2. Wrap the paper strip around the neck snugly but not tight,
leaving one fingers room.
3. Line up the ends of the paper strip over a ruler, yardstick
or tape measure. This is the smallest size collar to wear.
4. Remember this number when ordering, use that number as your
guide.
